No disrespect to my friends who have always been a bit heavier than me, but I never imagined I'd get heavier than 145 pounds (about 65KG plus change). When I visited the doctor last week, I was officially at 71 kg. And I don't like it.
So now, after talking about my test results (normal BP, no more pus in the urine, and except for the relatively high cholesterol everything else is a normal blood chemistry), I'm on a low cholesterol diet.
Of all the diet suggestions out there, I've decided to follow my friend Rach's suggestion. Oatmeal for breakfast and half-rice with dinner, and watch the animal fat. This is going to be hard to do. But I guess it should work. I do need more soup, vegetables, fruits and less of fried food.
Rach mentioned that she's been having (unflavored) oatmeal for breakfast for the past seven years.
I also have another friend who has oatmeal for lunch at the office. Albert has been having a big battle with his weight for some time now.
And now I'm in the same boat: oatmeal on a regular basis. Waaaahhhh!!!! It does need some getting used to. So far, I've had oatmeal for lunch and/or breakfast these past few days. I really need to get down to around 140 pounds. Though I think I would be more comfortable with 135 pounds (and back to a skinny butt, hehehe).
Oh well. This will need lots of work.

"I can read minds... I'm psychotic, you know." Thoughts on the hear, know and every why... about the past, present, future; about what is, was, what could have been, and what may never be. You can call me "casla paltac." Literally, "with only his balls," meaning, with nothing else but guts (balls). And moving forward...
