I attended the Pinoy Poets anniversary celebration last night at the Conspiracy Bar at Visayas Ave. It was a raucous affair with poetry readings, songs and an open mic (for poems). Sadly, I had to leave early, just past 10:00pm. A whole lot of the people I've met in the GA's were there: Jheric, Jeff, Rhodge, Rommel, Medel, Kiko, Kramer, Jonar, Rosvie, Dave, Andrea, Van, Ergoe, Kath, Emong, Steph, Mitz, Edz, Kai, Ani, Nanoy, Jojo, Claire and some new members and new faces which included Anavi and Bambina.
Steph already posted on her blog how the evening went.
Was just happy to have been there. It was great.

Bambina, sulat lang ng sulat. Hindi natatapos ang tula sa isang upuan. Matagal kong iniisip ang mga salita bago ko ilapat ang tinta sa papel. At minsan hindi ko pa natatapos ang nasimulang tula. Ganoon talaga.
