mother's reflection
two mothers
talk of wedding
over ricecakes
gray-haired woman
curled on a folding bed
crescent moon
barbecue stand--
thin smoke veils a woman's face
her musing eyes
before breakfast
mother waters her plants
with a teapot
videoke night--
on the screen, a background
of bare breasts
